We are personal and caring in a world that is increasingly impersonal. Ø Stewardship: We are blessed with God’s resources that we use in ministry for His purposes. We give our treasure, time, and talent to support these ministries and help those in need. Ø Prayer & Praise: Music, the spoken word, and prayer time are important parts of everything. We value Worship as a means of spiritual growth and as a way of strengthening the community of faith. We value Prayer as a way to seek growth as an individual and as a congregation. Ø Family & Fellowship: The whole Church is a big family where we can gather together for a feeling of love, laughter, and home. The Church grows through family and friends, both in size and spirituality. We value Fellowship as a means of connecting spiritually to the congregation. Ø Faith Tradition: Our Christian heritage connects us to the life and acts of Jesus Christ. The Church is called to live and minister in the world as Christ lived and ministered in the world.
Core Values We Aspire to: Ø Risk-taking: We value leaps of faith that are born out of discerning God’s will. Our aversion to risk-taking comes out of the lows of the past. Ø Youthfulness: We appreciate the energy and creativity of a youthful state of mind. We aspire to reach younger people through our ministries. Ø Acceptance: All that it implies—old to new; changes; acceptance of all people and their diversity.
